Conditions for items purchased

Terms and Conditions “Japan Sword Art” website. (Effective from March 1st 2017)

1A.

All descriptions / text (with regard to Japanese words and related articles) at www.japanswordart.com, are described as accurate as possible by consulting the available documentation and knowledge.

1B.

All items on this website are antiques and authentic; unless otherwise mentioned. Check the condition and also read the description carefully. If you need more detailed information or other help, feel free to contact me by using the “contact form”.

1C.

A client can NOT pursue any rights in case of the following circumstances:

  • Spelling mistakes in the text and English grammar.
  • If the description is not entirely correct.
  • If pictures show some reflections.
  • If pictures show colour differences.

2.

If you are interested in an item(s) you want to purchase, please contact me through the “order form”.

3.

The relevant item you’re interested in will be one (1) week reserved for you until I have received a payment confirmation.

Note:

After one (1) week without payment confirmation, the reserved item will automatically return to the website and will be published again as a sale item: You can claim no right whatsoever regarding the item.

3A.

Depending on the country / continent where you live, the customs and VAT / import tax can vary considerably!

Advise: Please check these (additional cost) in advance to avoid disappointments!

Remember: Every country and continent has its own rules on this topic.

For your information: I only accept Euros € as payment.

4.

Bank transfer fees are not included in the price! These costs will be charged to the buyer.

Note:

Bank, credit card company and PayPal can charge fees of 3-5%. This is on top of prevailing currency exchange rates.

For more information regarding payment in Euro’s €, please contact your own bank or credit card company to find out the exact costs.

5.

Once the payment is received I will send the purchased item(s).

The buyer will be notified (by e-mail) whether the item(s) will be delivered by courier or registered mail.

All parcels will have a tracking number, so the buyer can keep track of the whereabouts of the parcel.

6.

Costs for shipping and insurance will be charged to the buyer.

7.

I will personally take care of the purchased item(s) to be parcked correctly and shipped safely to the buyer.

8.

Parcels will be transported/send through the following companies: Post NL, EMS, FedEx, or any other reliable company.

9.

If problems occur, such as loss of property, theft or damage to the goods the courier company will be responsible for this during transport. The value (as stated on the invoice) is an indication for the fee.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to read and check all clauses for loss of property, theft or damage to the goods. Each courier company applies different rules.

10.

According to Dutch and international law it is not allowed to sell swords to persons younger than 18 years.

If I have doubts about the age of the buyer, I will ask for his/her ID such as Passport or driving license (soft copy)

I need this proof of identity in case of an audit by the authorities.

11.

All items purchased through this website (www.japanswordart.com) cannot be returned / will NOT be exchanged!
