歴史 History

背景情報：

大森秀知は、江戸時代後期の1742年から1807年にかけて活躍した、高く評価された日本の金属細工師であり、刀装具（刀装具）の製作者であった。

この縁頭は英知の作で、姓は大森。名前は英知とも読み、諱は定兵衛、芸名は龍林斎。

英知は、大森家の三代、大森英秀の弟子です。 18世紀後半の江⼾時代、武蔵国に活躍した。

大森学校は、華麗で躍動感あふれる金属加工で知られる運動だった。

Background info:

Omori Hidetomo was a highly regarded Japanese metalworker and maker of sword-mounted swords (tosogu), who lived from 1742 to 1807 during the late Edo period.

This fuchi-Kashira was created by Hidetomo, his family name is Omori. His name can also be read as Terutomo, his personal name is Sadabei, and his stage name is Ryū-rinsai.

Eichi was a disciple of Omori Hide, the third head of the Omori family. He was active in Musashi Province during the late 18th century Edo period.

The Omori school was a movement known for its fabulous and dynamic metalworking.
