短刀や脇差に適した鍔です This Tsuba is suitable for Tanto and Wakizashi

歴史 History

This 鍔Tsuba is coming from a Japanese collection

In the literature available to me I found 1 blacksmith who signed in this way. According to the author of this work, he would have used the 家族 family name 藤 Fuji

Considering the style of this 鍔 Tsuba, I think it is possible that it belongs to the 少阿弥伝 Shōami Den and was active in the middle of the Edo period.
