歴史 History

背景情報：

創始者である石黒正恒（本名：堀木10）は、横屋流派の加藤直恒や柳川直政といった師匠に師事した。師匠たちの名前の漢字を組み合わせて「正恒」という芸名を名乗った。政常、初代 1760-1828 – 江戸。

石黒派は、極めて精緻な金属細工で世界的に有名である。彼らは、赤銅を背景に様々な色の合金を象嵌した、非常に写実的な花鳥画の描写に長けていた。

Background info:

The founder, Masatsune Ishiguro (real name: Horiki 10), studied under masters such as Naotsune Kato and Naomasa Yanagawa of the Yokoya school. He adopted the stage name “Masatsune” by combining the kanji characters from his masters’ names. Masatsune, the first head of the school (1760-1828) – Edo. 

The Ishiguro school is world-renowned for its extremely intricate metalwork. They excelled at depicting highly realistic flower and bird paintings, using  Shakudō as a background and inlaying various colored alloys.
